This festival is an annual event held in Cambridge – England. The Festival is an arts and music festival with many sculptures placed around the rolling hills between each stage. This was where I staged my largest performance piece to date. I had to make 60 identical vagina heads and masks from one mould, with a team of 6 helpers. People at the festival painted these and wore them in The Miss Vagina Head Parade, which was held on the Saturday night. Miss Vagina Head was invited to get up on stage with performers, lyrics from songs were changed to “Vagina Vagina Vagina…” and generally there was a lot of Vagina appreciation going around.
