This was a solo show at the artists bar and galleries The Foundry on Old Street London. I had the upstairs room just off the main bar called the Library. Here I chose works that complimented each other such as my Ruby Plastic Dolls, the Venus Series, Breasticles, Bed side breast - (Bratzdoll edition) and Miss Vagina Head. Together i created an installation within the gallery space where people could sit and drink/ chat amongst the sculptures. I employed Emma Johnson to copy one of my Bust of Venus Photographs and make it into a screen printed poster which was sold at the show.
This show lasted for just under two weeks from 17th – 29th April 2007, Performed as Miss Vagina Head performances whilst the show was on. This exhibition attempted to display the works in a dingy, low lit atmosphere, the walls were covered in nails and blue tack, with marks where the paint had be scratched off and re painted over. The sofas were perfect with leopard print designs which looked fantastic under the red light which was purposely installed to swamp the room and cast a sordid glow over each of the pieces.
On the opening evening Miss Vagina Head collaborated with two un-known French singers who sung an improvised song about how pretty Miss Vagina Head was feeling on that night.
